Emilie Schampheleer

Emilie Schampheleer graduated in 2024 with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She started her PhD in the summer of 2024 as part of the COMET project NEXT level of Digital Motion (DiMo-NEXT). Her research focuses on monitoring mental fatigue and its negative impact on performance through the use of wearable sensor technology. 

Emilie has experience as a tutor in statistics, biomechanics, and biochemistry at the university level, as well as in biology and chemistry for high school students. She currently teaches practical classes in training and rehabilitation for future physiotherapists at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
