SportsComp e-learning courses are ready for piloting
The SportsComp project’s three e-learning courses developed in Work Package 3 are ready. Development of the courses took place during a 9-month period, between June 2024 - March 2025. The three e-learning courses were developed based on the competency update of Work Package 2.

Led by Prof Kevin De Pauw , researcher Arnau Dillen from the Human Physiology and Sports Physiotherapy (MFYS) research group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) has developed a brain-computer interface, in which the brain controls a robotic arm.

New Research: Neurocognitive Insights in Chronic Ankle Instability (CAI)
Our recent publication "Deficits in neurocognitive performance in patients with chronic ankle instability during a neurocognitive balance task - A retrospective case-control study" sheds light on the neurocognitive aspects of chronic ankle instability, a common complication following ankle sprains.
New European research project SportsComp
We are pleased to announce that the Erasmus+ collaborative project, Higher Education to Improve Competence in Sports Physiotherapy (SportsComp), has been awarded €400,000 for a 3-year international project.
Participants required for study on cortical activation patterns in patients with chronic ankle instability
Study objective We will ask you to collect all data and information necessary for the study - such as your demographic data (age, weight, height, gender) as well as data on your medical history, your medication use and your dependence on certain products (tobacco use, alcohol consumption) .
