Yana Pauwelyn

Yana Pauwelyn obtained her Master Biomedical Research in Movement Sciences in 2026 at KU Leuven and is currently a PhD student at the Human Physiology and Sports Physiotherapy research group (MFYS). Her research focuses on mental fatigue in endurance athletes. Yana is also responsible for exercise testing at the Brussels Human Performance Lab (BLITS). In her free time she is a distance runner, and has represented the country at several international championships.
